MLS Expansion Draft

The MLS Expansion Draft is here and begins today at 2:00 as NYCFC and OCSC look to fill out their rosters with players that were left exposed from the other 18 MLS franchises in a 10 round draft. 1:55: Just a reminder the players who were left exposed for TFC are: Steven Caldwell, Daniel Lovitz, Mark Bloom, Chris Konopka, Dominic Oduro, and Jackson. Also, Bright Dike, who is currently out of contract, can also be selected as one of the two TFC players.

2:05: The Draft has begun.

2:07: No TFC players drafted in the 1st of 10 rounds

2:08: No TFC players drafted in the 2nd of 10 rounds.

2:10: No TFC players drafted in the 3rd of 10 rounds.

2:13: Daniel Lovitz drafted in the 4th of 10 rounds by NYCFC.

2:14: TFC protects Mark Bloom.

2:15: No TFC players drafted in the 5th round.

2:16: Tough loss with Daniel Lovitz after one successful season with the Reds appearing in 18 matches. Very smart and decisive move by Bezbatchenko protecting away Mark Bloom after the Lovitz selection. Really thought Bloom would be first to go.

2:20: No TFC players drafted in the 6th round of 10 rounds.

2:23: No TFC players drafted in the 7th round of 10 rounds.

2:25: No TFC players drafted in the 8th round of 10 rounds.
